The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to reply to you and to work with you, we never sell it, and you can ask us to see, fix or delete it at any time by emailing [email protected].
Who we are
LUVcreatix is a business strategy, branding and marketing service based in London, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information through luvcreatix.com and when you contact us, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
We're responsible for the personal information we hold. If you have a question or concern about privacy, you can reach the person responsible at [email protected].
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use our contact form, book a call or email us, we receive the details you choose to share: usually your name, email address, where your business is at, how you know us and your message. If you share a phone number or other details, we receive those too.
- Information from working together. If we become partners, we'll handle information needed for that work, such as business details, agreed results and the numbers used to track profit. How that information is handled is also covered in our written agreement with you.
- Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and talk about your idea or business.
- To set up and deliver the work we agree on together, if we become partners.
- To keep basic records of our conversations and agreements.
- To keep our website working, secure and free of spam.
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Your consent
By sending us a message, you agree that we can use your details to reply to you and continue the conversation. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. We'll stop using your information for that purpose, unless we need to keep some of it to meet a legal or contractual obligation.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information with trusted service providers who help us run LUVcreatix, and only as much as they need. These include our email provider, our website host and, if we use one, a contact-form service that delivers your message to our inbox. Website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, for example in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We choose reputable providers that protect information with appropriate safeguards.
We'll never share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to (for example, introducing you to a lawyer or accountant), or unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. If we don't end up working together, we delete inquiry messages within about two years. If we do become partners, we keep records for as long as our agreement requires and as long as the law requires for business records, then delete them securely.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections, password-protected accounts with two-step verification where available, and limiting access to people who need it. No method of storing or sending information online is 100% secure, but we take care to protect what you share with us.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- see the personal information we hold about you,
- correct anything that's inaccurate or out of date, or
- delete your information or withdraw your consent.
Just email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
